Why attend wellness groups?

We understand that everyone has different ways of dealing with their emotions and life experiences, which is why we offer wellness groups. These groups provide a supportive environment to connect with others and learn effective strategies without the need for traditional talk therapy.

Our virtual space brings like-minded individuals together to foster a sense of community and belonging. Our classes are beginner-friendly with step-by-step guidance from a psychologist to help you along your journey. Whether you're looking to slow down, reconnect, find your purpose in life, or heal your inner child wounds, our approach is tailored to your needs.

How it works?

  1. Click on Book Online

  2. Select New Client (if you are new to Mindtality Healing Studio). If you are an existing client log into the client portal.

  3. Fill in the contact form and select the service you are interested in. We will then email you our intake form.

  4. Complete our intake form that will be emailed to you and attach your GP referral/ care plan
    (If you don't have one, we can assist you)

  5. You will then be able to login to our Client Portal to book in your sessions/ classes. 

About our wellness groups

We have designed virtual wellness groups that bring a community of like-minded people together to help you learn skills to overcome challenges. Groups are usually between four to ten people. The group typically meets monthly. You can book groups in advance using our online portal. Keep an eye out for what group we run next.

Each group uses different interventions and evidence-based practices including:

Cognitive behavioural therapy - which focuses on helping you identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, emotional responses, and behaviours.

Art therapy - which focuses on expressing emotions and mood through colours, creativity and writing. Learn to listen to one’s inner self and have the space to feel your emotions and heal from them.

Mindfulness and Meditation - which focuses on breathing, slowing down and being present in the moment. Ideal for those with high stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and ADHD.

Interpersonal therapy - which focuses on interpersonal relationships and social interactions, including how much support you have from others and the impact these relationships have on mental health.

Psychoeducation - which focuses on educating you about mental health and how to manage your symptoms.

Skills development - which focuses on improving social skills in people of all abilities.

Support groups - which provides a wide range of benefits for people looking to connect with others.

Medicare rebates are available for eligible people.

Please note a minimum of 4 people are needed for groups to run.

    Learn the art of slowing down and get in touch with your mind, body and spirit with our 50 minute sessions.

  • Mindfulness Group

    Learn the art of being in the present moment and focusing on one task at a time. 50 minute sessions.

    Classes are designed for all abilities.

    COST: $65.00pp

  • Expression of Self

    Learn the art of self expression through the celebration of colour, creativity and mindfulness. Using Art Therapy techniques to inspire healing. 2-hour sessions.

    Classes are designed for all abilities.

    COST: $125.00pp

  • Stress Management

    Learn the art of destressing and avoid burn-out, by understanding stress, your triggers, developing healthy routines and gain strategies to overcome challenges. 50 minute sessions.

    Classes are designed for abilities.

    COST: $65.00pp

  • Emotional Regulation

    Learn the art of regulating your emotions by understanding what you are feeling, thinking, your needs and inner most desires. Learn how to express your feelings, change your perspectives and ride the wave of emotions, without pushing them down. 50 minute sessions.

    Classes are designed for all abilities.

  • Symptom Management

    Understand symptoms, triggers of different mental health concerns, and strategies to manage symptoms. Join us each week for different mental health concerns. 50 minute sessions.
